Professor Willy Sansen “Katholieke Universiteit Leuven – Belgium”

On November 8-10, 2010, NU hosted a 3-day course, presented by Professor Willy Sansen, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven – Belgium. The course was designed to develop an in-depth knowledge on the design of analog integrated circuits, which aim to achieve low power consumption. The course was co-organized with Mentor Graphics.
For more than two decades Prof. Sansen was head of the ESAT-MICAS laboratory on analog design, which counts about sixty members and which is mainly active in research projects with industry and in teaching worldwide. He has been the supervisor of over fifty-eight PhD theses in these fields. He has authored and coauthored more than 620 papers in international journals and conference proceedings and fifteen books. More than sixty participants from academia and industry attended the course.
